What am I?
The Lotus Wheel is a padded stretching and massage wheel.
Its curved shape fits comfortably along your back and between your shoulder blades, while your own body weight controls the stretch and pressure.
Different sized wheels allow you to choose from gentle stretching through to more focused pressure.

Contraindications
Reasons not to use the wheel
Please seek appropriate medical advice before using the wheels if:
- Osteoporosis.
- A recent fracture or suspected fracture
- Unexplained back or neck pain
- Numbness, weakness or altered sensation
- Problems with balance or safely getting on and off the floor
- Do not use the Lotus Wheel directly over open wounds, significant bruising, inflammation, infection or an acute injury.
If a movement causes sharp pain, shooting pain, numbness, weakness or pins and needles — stop.

- Start with a larger wheel if you’re new to using the Lotus Wheel
- Move slowly and stay in control
- Never force yourself backwards over the wheel
- More pressure does not mean more benefit.

Instructions
How to use

1. CHOOSE YOUR WHEEL
Choose the wheel that suits the stretch or area you want to work on.
New to Lotus Wheel? Start larger and gentler.

2. GET INTO POSITION
For a back roll, sit on the floor with your knees bent and feet firmly planted.
Place the wheel behind your upper or mid back, in line with your spine.

3. LEAN BACK and roll slowly
Use your hands and feet for support as you gently lean backwards onto the wheel and control movement.
Keep control of your body weight and slowly roll back and forth along your mid to upper back

4. FIND YOUR COMFORT
Never force yourself into a deeper stretch.

5. try other areas
Neck: 12 cm; rest at the base of your head and gently tilt back and forth
Glutes: 12 cm; sit in a figure-four position and gently roll
Thighs: Slowly roll from the hip towards the knee
Calves: Place underneath your calf and slowly roll
Feet: 6 cm; slowly roll underneath your foot

Stand up carefully.
